Applications for admission to classes 6 and 9 in military schools can be submitted till 5 pm on November 30. https://aissee.nta.nic.in. Marks will not be deducted for wrong answers. A minimum of 25% marks in each subject and 40% in aggregate should be obtained. There is no minimum mark requirement for Scheduled Castes.

67% of the seats in each school are for the students of the respective state / union territory and the remaining 33% are for the students from other parts of India. A general request is enough. Schedule caste will be 15%, scheduled tribe 7.5% and backward class 27%.

Besides the 33 government military schools, there are 18 new military schools approved by the Ministry of Defence. These schools, which are run hand in hand with the state government or private institutions, will include Veda Vyasa Vidyalaya in Malaparam, Kozhikode. Of these only 6th class admission. Admission is through seat allocation of 40% national level and 60% school level. For those studying in one of these 18 schools, the school-level selection is based on the rank of applicants in that school. Any recognized school can be selected at the time of counselling. Those interested in admission to these schools need only submit a common application.
